Dr. Jessica Moore, ND

I believe a person’s health care should be individualized to that patient. We have to start getting to the root causes and susceptibilities of complex and chronic illness. After 10 years of working in hospital and outpatient settings, it is clear to me that personalized healthcare is the way forward.

“…

Central to any homeopathic prescription, is providing an individualized treatment.”

From the very outset of her career, Dr. Moore has been deeply intrigued by evidence-informed medicine. In the early phases of her medical education, she held a certain skepticism toward homeopathy. Initially, she attended related required courses without any intent of integrating homeopathy into her future medical practice. However, as time passed, she bore witness to the transformative impact of well-prescribed homeopathic treatments. This realization was in response to repeatable clinical results, extensive training, exploration of the scientific rationale behind homeopathic medicine, and her own personal health journey. It quickly became evident to Dr. Moore that homeopathy could significantly aid in recovery from complex and serious illnesses. One of the most gratifying experiences her career thus far has been aiding families in navigating and recovering from conditions like PANS and PANDAS using homeopathy.

Dr. Moore’s strives to help families move from a place of fear to a place of empowerment. Navigating and finding recovery from PANS and PANDAS can be challenging and exhausting for both the child and their families. After over a decade of working with patients living with cancer and other complex chronic illness, Dr. Moore has a skilled and empathetic approach to homeopathic case taking. She is thrilled to be a part of the Resilience Naturopathic team.

Through her career she has worked, trained and taught internationally (US, Canada and Europe). She is a published author and an avid public and professional speaker. Her core values are rooted in community, diversity and equality. Recreationally, Dr. Moore spends time with her family and enjoys hiking, dancing, reading, cooking, travelling and the theatre.

What Patients are Saying

Laurie

Dr. Bahr is an amazing individual and a great doctor. Her knowledge is built on a foundation of genuine warmth and care for others. Her ability to support those in their healing process, physically, mentally, and emotionally, is hard to find in the medical community. As a patient, I felt like she connected with me heart to heart, she displayed her compassion both in character and poise, and she asked the questions other doctors had dismissed in order to find the reason why I was feeling the way I was. Her intuition is impeccable. I felt like she continually sought to understand me as a whole person and to formulate a treatment that was unique for me. She also explained what was happening within my body and how the treatment she was implementing would help address the cause for the imbalance I was experiencing.
